she/her
I became a therapist because my own experiences as a struggling teenager in therapy were negative and sometimes harmful. Finding my way to genuine healing took time. Finding my purpose came along with it.
I work with people who are still trapped in that in-between place. Not broken, not fine. Somewhere in the process of figuring out who they actually are.
The part of this work I never get tired of is watching someone begin to trust that they’re capable of real change. Not just managing things better. Actually changing.
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me in the kitchen trying a new recipe, at the gym, or at the movies.
Who I Work With
I work with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, and neuro-divergence, especially those who’ve spent years adapting, masking, or pushing through. I know how exhausting that can be.
How I Work
Cognitive-based therapy can help you make sense of things and build a narrative around your experience. But understanding alone isn’t enough, especially with trauma. Trauma leaves an imprint in the nervous system, not just in memory. That’s where the real work has to happen.
I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), one of the most extensively researched methods for treating trauma and PTSD. My approach is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps make sense of the internal patterns that keep showing up even when you know better.
I focus on therapy and support rather than formal diagnostic evaluations.
